此项技术乃由日本CUBIC公司所研发而成,而且是市场上唯一能在不规则物体上全面性印刷出最具质感及最佳效果的批覆方式,更已在世界各先进国家中广范使用.
水转印技术被称为比较环保的技术，也是目前最新兴的一种高效印刷制作，大概与他脱离印刷过程中的油墨有关。水转印利用水的压力和活化剂使水转印载体薄膜上的剥离层溶解转移，基本流程为：

一．膜的印刷：在高分子薄膜上印上各种不同图案；

二．喷底漆：许多材质必须涂上一层附着剂，如金属、陶瓷等，若要转印不同的图案，必须使用不同的底色，如木纹基本使用棕色、咖啡色、土黄色等，石纹基本使用白色等；
